The pages of Knut A.G. HaugeThese are the pages of Knut Audun Grodås Hauge, journalist and cartoonist from Norway (living in Sweden), and this page is an English abstract of those pages. Please feel free to contact me if you need any more information. Mille was a single panel cartoon, published in the Norwegian comic monthly Pondus (circulation peaked at 95.000) from 2000 until 2006. Mille means "1000" in latin, and I discontinued the cartoon when I reached 1000 panels (late 2006). Mille was reborn in 2009, and I draw new panels on irregular basis. Mille is now published in the magazine Rutetid. The complete Mille (in Norwegian) can be found on my pages. Between 1993 and 2002 I worked as a journalist, working among others three years for IDG Norway (Computerworld Norway and PC World Norway). Four of the years in the mid-90's I did contract publishing. Since 2002 I have studied pedagogics and completed my post-graduate thesis in sociology at the University of Oslo, and have been working as a teacher of media since 2003. Today, I earn my living as a teacher of media at a college at the Norwegian side of the border (crossing the border every day). Updated Oct 28, 2011. |

Things I like, and things I dislike: I like: The smell of stave churches. Drawing, writing and photographing. The view of the horizon, the salt wind of the ocean (I grew up by the North Sea). Father Ted, The A-Team, Talking Heads, 22 Pistepirkko, Homestar Runner. I dislike: George Bush (both of them), countries which believe they because of some god (regardless which one) think their country is more blessed than any other country. |
An elephant a day:A small pile of elephants, a camera and a bag.
